Copper cables recycling

The recycling of copper cables is of great importance because this material, contained within the electrical cables, is a valuable metal.

Through the grinding and dry separation of the insulating part, the new introduction of the raw material on the market is guaranteed. Disposal is carried out by means of procedures which are typically of the mechanical and air type. The copper is fed into the plant for treatment consisting of very robust shredders capable of operating on a large amount of electrical cable. The copper then undergoes a volumetric reduction, shredding and consequent selection.

The same plant is also able to work on armored iron cables of large diameters.
